Position Overview
As a Commercial Construction Superintendent, you’ll lead on-site operations for tenant improvement projects—ranging from medical and dental offices to high profile restaurants like Starbucks and Burger King—ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction across the Everett-Tacoma corridor.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Direct daily on-site construction activities for tenant improvements (medical, dental, restaurants).
- Scheduling & Budgeting: Coordinate project schedules, manage labor, monitor material deliveries, and uphold budgets.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce BFC Construction’s high standards and Class A building qualifications.
- Safety Leadership: Champion OSHA and company safety protocols; conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Coordination: Manage subs, vendors, inspectors, and stakeholders; ensure seamless collaboration.
- Client Relations: Interface with clients (e.g., office managers, franchisees) and architects; address needs and maintain positive client experiences.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily logs, track project metrics, manage RFIs, and produce progress reports.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve on-site challenges swiftly—whether unforeseen site conditions or scheduling conflicts.

Requirements
Education & Background:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical or construction management education preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years supervising commercial tenant improvement projects.
- (Bonus) Experience with medical, dental, and restaurant builds.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and building codes.
- Proven track record in site logistics, safety, and quality control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Tools & Certifications:
- Proficiency in construction scheduling tools (Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project).
- OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent (preferred).
