Unit Description:Delaware North manages food and beverage services at Climate Pledge Arena, home of the NHL’s Seattle Kraken, WNBA’s Seattle Storm, and premier live music and entertainment. The 740,000-square-foot, renewable energy-powered building is the first net zero-certified arena in the world! Delaware North’s Climate Collective offers the most locally focused, sustainable menu in the sports and entertainment industry.
Responsibilities:- Supervise warehouse team, including assigning duties, training, coaching, and counseling, and reporting any associate issues to the manager.
- Ensure proper stock of products and that all items are in their appropriate locations.
- Maintain daily awareness of product needs; determine quantities required to adequately stock inventory.
- Manage inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of outdated material, and cycle counting.
- Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areas.
- Initiate and organize procedures to set standards for the warehouse.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- At least one year of warehouse experience required.
- At least one year of supervisory experience required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule that may include days and/or nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience with Excel or a similar database management computer system is required.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Must be dependable and a self-starter; ability to work independently.
- Strong leadership skills; ability to delegate and coach others.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to communicate job procedures and give clear, concise instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds.
- Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout the facility.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching, during the entire length of the shift.
