Qualifications:
- Possess a high school degree or comparable equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years job-related experience which demonstrates ability to work independently, with a minimum of supervision and function in a dynamic, fast-paced, continually changing team environment with frequent interruptions, OR
- Documentation verifying an Associate's degree or credits from an accredited university, college, community college, or business school may be used to fulfill or help fulfill the two (2) years of job-related experience. Ninety (90) quarter or sixty (60) semester credits are equivalent to two full years of job-related experience.
- Recency (prior 10 years) and substance of work experience will be considered in determining applicant qualifications
- Experience which demonstrates excellent customer service abilities, interpersonal skills, and team player attitude
- Experience which demonstrates a high level of attention to, and management of, detailed information
- Experience which demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience which demonstrates excellent problem solving, analytical, and conflict resolution skills and ability to think quickly
- Experience which demonstrates excellent written communication skills and which demonstrates the ability to compose and proof correspondence
- Experience using Microsoft Office/Suite (including Word and Excel)
- Experience using Microsoft Office/Suite (including Access and PowerPoint) preferred
- Possess skill in working with numbers, mathematical computations, and worksheets
- Willingness to learn new technology
- Working knowledge and demonstrated experience with Gmail, Absence Management, Pagemaker or similar desktop publishing programs, and Student Information System through Synergy is preferred

Other Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to work in a warehouse environment with a constant change of temperature and noise levels
- Ability to file inventory on shelving ranging from ground level to 8 feet high
- Ability to lift and move moderately sized objects up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to complete work which is repetitive
- Coordinate and manage assignments and workload
- Regular attendance to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position
Essential Functions - Warehouse Textbook:
- Assists the Curriculum department with ordering all textbooks for the district
- Maintains an accurate accounting of instructional materials in the depository and in buildings
- Serves as a liaison to vendors for pricing and ordering
- Coordinates with the Curriculum department with purchasing, distributing textbooks during the year, i.e. ordering, unpacking, inspecting, stamping, counting, and bar coding instructional materials for building delivery
- Tracks shipments, deliveries and orders
- Maintains accurate filing system to track invoices and purchase orders and PCard purchases and transactions
- Contacts vendors to determine status of delinquent orders, returns, cancellations, damaged and unused items
- Updates and maintains Destiny computer application to track instructional material in the building and depository
- Distribute manipulative kits throughout the school year and replenish the kits as they are returned
- Performs end of the year inventory for textbook depository
- Resolves concerns with faculty regarding text related issues
- Maintains a neat and organized shipping area for material distribution
- Collaborates with appropriate staff at warehouse site, district office and building sites
- Performs related duties as assigned
Essential Functions - Warehouse:
- Treat co-workers, supervisors, students, parents and others with dignity and respect at all times
- Serve as a positive role model for students, and practice the behaviors that are expected of our students
- Work in a flexible and cooperative manner in collaboration with warehouse staff, district office and building sites
- Answers phones and forward messages
- Receives and verifies the accuracy of incoming shipments in Skyward Qmlativ
- Transacts instructional material movement using inventory control system
- Maintains accurate inventory records through the use of Skyward Qmlativ computerized depository inventory system, including adjustments, returns for credits and damage loss
- Batch and post daily transactions to Skyward Qmlativ
- Maintains clean and orderly work area
- Performs related duties and clerical tasks as required to achieve program requirements, including mailroom duties (e.g. mail distribution and postage metering for outgoing district mail)
- Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as assigned by administrator in alignment with their job classification
Benefits/Compensation:
Salary range: New employees will start at the minimum hourly rate in the salary range. However, employees who have verified prior years of service in a similar occupational status from other Washington School Districts or Education School Districts, may receive experience credit towards salary placement.
