Covenant Review is currently seeking a Research Analyst based out of our London office.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a research analyst for our market leading leveraged finance intelligence team at Covenant Review.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Learn the basics of the capital markets via analysis of indentures and loan agreements
- Proofread, edit, format, and distribute leveraged finance reports for publication
- Assist the seniors will day-to-day administrative assistance, such as document procurement, special research projects, running blacklines, preparing reports
- Assist the analysts in drafting new issue reports and updating existing research to reflect supplemental documents or final terms
- Assisting in amending research for new transactions and amendments to the documents
- Assist in legal research (such a recent legal judgements)
- Ensure that our website is up-to-date in regards to documents and outstanding securities
- Day-to-day administrative support as needed of Research teams
- Assist the sales team in creating, editing, and coordinating marketing and pitch book materials for sales meetings as needed
- Assist the data team with data entry projects as needed
- Assist in documentation scoring as needed
- Procuring, filing and granting permission to confidential documents
You May be a Good Fit if:
- Superior proofreading and editing skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
- Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proactive problem-solving and strong organizational skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Desire to train as a solicitor
- Candidates should have undertaken a law degree / SQE 1 / LPC but do not need to have contract negotiating experience
- Beginning of an understanding of how to read complex legal documents
