Youâll be the connective tissue across the finance functionâowning the core processes that keep our financials sharp and scalable. From month-end to management accounts, investor reporting to tax ops, youâll help build the engine that supports Tiltâs growth.
Youâll work closely with our Finance Lead and collaborate across Ops, Studios, and Marketing. This is a rare opportunity to get deep exposure to a fast-scaling business and develop as a full-stack finance operator.
What Youâll Do đ·
0â3 Months
Reconcile revenue, cost of sales, inventory, expenses, and balance sheet accounts
Prepare journal entries, trial balances, and support preparation of financial statements
Assist with month-end close: accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
Help maintain department-level budgets and spending visibility across the business
Prepare documentation for VAT, payroll, R&D tax claims, and other filings
Track and record accounts payable/receivable
Contribute to equity operations: cap table review, option grants, EMI admin
3+ Months
Assist with cash flow forecasting and long-term scenario planning
Own monthly budget-vs-actuals updates for key teams
Support investor reporting and compliance (e.g. Digital Platform Reporting, Companies House)
Use spreadsheetsâand potentially SQL or Pythonâto streamline and automate finance workflows
Contribute to finance process improvements across reporting, controls, and tooling
Who You Are đ
1â3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or FP&A role (startup or practice background welcome)
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldâwith core modules in financial accounting
Strong understanding of journal posting, trial balances, and accounting principles
Familiarity with month-end reporting and/or preparing management accounts
Bonus: Exposure to equity topics (EMI schemes, options, cap tables)
Bonus: Some fluency or interest in SQL, Python, or other data tools
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal hand-holding
