About the role:
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) in the Retail Media Ad Solutions area, you will play a critical role in designing and building high-performance, scalable AdTech solutions that power our growing Retail Media ecosystem. You'll work across the stack, from backend services to customer-facing interfaces, with a strong focus on clean architecture, data performance, and user-centric development. Working closely with your cross-functional team, you’ll help turn complex business needs into robust, end-to-end technical solutions that deliver measurable impact.
Job Description:About your tasks:
- System Architecture & Engineering: Develop and optimize Node.js/TypeScript-based microservices, focusing on performance, modularity, and scalability. Contribute to architectural decisions that improve system maintainability and reliability.
- Frontend Development: Build and maintain React applications using Next.js (Pages Router) and Material-UI. Implement advanced form logic using Formik and JSONSchema validation. Ensure exceptional user experiences through responsive, accessible, and high-performance UI.
- Data & Messaging Systems: Integrate and optimize high-throughput data systems using MongoDB, Redis, and Algolia for real-time ad delivery and insights. Work with BullMQ and RabbitMQ to handle reliable, distributed message queuing and background processing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, and Analytics teams to deliver end-to-end Retail Media features. Participate in sprint planning, technical reviews, and solution discovery to ensure engineering is aligned with business goals.
About you:
- Strong hands-on skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, and modern web technologies.
- Deep experience building scalable microservices and frontend applications in cloud-native environments.
- Familiarity with AdTech or Retail Media platforms (eg such as Kevel, Google Ad Manager, CitrusAd, TopSort) will be looked upon favourably.
- Committed to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with a strong focus on scalability, testing, and long-term system health.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams and contributing proactively to cross-functional initiatives.
- A continuous learner who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys solving real-world business challenges with technology.
