POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of Hofman Hospitality Group’s marketing strategy by managing local restaurant marketing (LRM) initiatives, guest review assessment and response, operations-facing communications, and digital content creation. This role plays a key part in enhancing brand visibility, engaging guests through social media, and ensuring consistent representation of Hofman Hospitality Group’s brands: Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que, Hof’s Hut Restaurant & Bakery, and Saint & Second.
The Marketing Coordinator contributes to brand growth by assisting in content development, monitoring guest sentiment, and supporting campaigns across multiple channels, both online and in the community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Local Restaurant Marketing & Guest Engagement
- Monitor and respond to guest reviews on platforms such as Google, Yelp, and other online channels.
- Facilitate LRM initiatives, including student achievement programs, fundraisers, and community partnerships.
- Assist with digital listing management (Google Business, Yelp, Apple Maps, etc.) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Participate in and, at times, coordinate off-site marketing events and activations.
- Content Creation & Social Media Management
- Assist the marketing team with creating, curating, and editing content that promotes brand awareness across all Hofman Hospitality Group brands.
- Produce content pieces weekly, including photography, video, and social media posts.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to schedule and publish content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Write engaging copy for social media posts, ensuring alignment with brand voice.
- Monitor social media accounts daily, engaging with followers by responding to comments, messages, and reviews.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing recommendations for optimization.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to enhance brand reach and engagement.
- Communications & Brand Support
- Create and distribute monthly marketing guides for each brand to support operational teams.
- Assist with maintaining and updating website content to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Support brand development and awareness through a variety of marketing mediums, including digital, print, and in-person channels.
- Assist in writing, filming, and editing content, including interactive and multimedia elements, to support campaigns and promotions.
- Other Duties
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Marketing Manager to support department goals and company initiatives.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Prior experience creating photo and video content, with familiarity as a content creator on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Strong creative skills with the ability to translate ideas into engaging digital content.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, proofreading, and copywriting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure campaign performance, and suggest improvements.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and related tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel and participate in local and regional marketing events.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service and/or social media marketing in a business setting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, or currently enrolled.
- 2 or more years of experience in customer service and/or social media marketing in a business setting.

- This position may involve working in both quiet office environments and active restaurant settings, where the noise level can range from low to high. The team member may be exposed to typical restaurant conditions, including temperature fluctuations, food preparation areas, hot or cold surfaces, and cleaning or sanitizing chemicals while performing on-site support tasks.
- Periodic travel to restaurant locations is required, including local and regional travel. While on-site, team members must adhere to all company safety policies and may be required to use personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves or slip-resistant footwear, depending on the nature of the work and environment.
