- Oversee and manage all aspects of government contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies for government contracts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters, both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute contract strategies that align with company objectives.
- Analyze and mitigate risks associated with contract terms and conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on contract matters, including training and mentoring.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and other external stakeholders.
- Monitor contract performance and identify areas for improvement or potential issues.
- Participate in proposal development and review to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Advise and assist in the resolution of contract disputes or issues.
- Stay current on industry and government contract regulations and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with government agencies and other contractors.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment for contracts.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide contract policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of relevant Contract Management experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Advanced knowledge of DoD contracting
- Advanced knowledge of FAR/DFAR
- Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers;
- Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents - Microsoft Office
- Make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- Develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent organizational and follow through skills.
- Detail oriented.
