Elementary School Teacher Position (Upper Grades) presso Tzu Chi School

Job Summary: 1. Teach various classes in upper elementary grades as assigned by the Principal, ensuring a dynamic and inclusive classroom atmosphere. 2. Adhere to the educational standards and curriculum guidelines set by the school. 3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored instruction to support individual learning needs. 4. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress. 5. Engage in staff development and training programs to enhance your teaching skills and contribute positively to our educational community and embrace professional development, accept constructive feedback, and implement best practices in teaching and learning. 6. Provide all necessary documentation related to teaching and learning activities promptly when requested. 7. Report directly to the School Principal, with a focus on collaboration and professional growth. 8. Participate in lunch and recess duty, and other duties as assigned. 9. Attend and actively participate in school events and activities, such as open houses, back to school night, faculty meetings, among others, as determined by school leadership. 10 Incorporate various technological tools and multimodal resources into teaching practices to enhance learning experiences, engage students, and support diverse learning styles. 11. Promptly check and respond to all professional messages and emails from colleagues, parents, and administration to ensure effective communication and address issues or inquiries. 12. All other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications: 1. Bachelor of Science in Education or related field (required); Master’s degree preferred. 2. Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (preferred). 3. 1 to 3 years of elementary teaching experience is preferred. 4. ESL or TESOL certification preferred. 5.
