Responsibilities 

  • The Counter Manager is a crucial position within the Charlotte Tilbury brand, responsible for driving effective and efficient operations 
  • This role embodies the 5 Ps: Professional, Proactive, Passionate, Prescriptive, and Potential 
  • Drive financial results in-store to meet and exceed plan, focusing on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Average Unit Sales (AUS) and Items Per Transaction (IPT) 
  • Lead by example on personal KPI goals, communicating and managing agreed goals with staff members 
  • Demonstrate expertise in retail artistry brands, showcasing entrepreneurial spirit while adhering to Company guidelines 
  • Customer Service 
  • Manage customer queries using sound judgment and achieve positive outcomes 
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive/Coordinator and Area Trainer to ensure continuous training and development of the team, upholding Charlotte Tilbury standards in both service and artistry 
  • Extend exceptional customer service beyond the in-store experience whenever possible 
  • Team Management 
  • Anticipate staffing needs, sourcing and selecting talent to deliver business objectives, including a bench for freelance and permanent staff 
  • Determine individual and team sales targets to meet and exceed plan 
  • Analyze business performance and proactively plan strategy within day-to-day business and events 
  • Ensure the counter is customer-ready from open to close of business 
  • Maintain required inventory levels and accurate stock files 
  • Control store expenses, such as counter consumables, within budget guidelines 
  • Implement visual merchandising, new launch displays, and collateral placement as directed by the marketing team 
  • Maintain technology on the counter and raise operational issues for resolution in a timely manner 
  • Store and Retail Partner Relationships 
  • Establish and develop cooperative and mutually respectful relationships with the store retail operations team 
  • Suggest win-win opportunities to drive sales within the store 
  • Schedule team coverage to optimize customer flow 
  • Maintain excellent counter hygiene standards and uphold store standards and policies at all times
