Description
The Manager of HR & Talent Acquisition will be responsible for managing the full corporate recruitment lifecycle, ensuring we attract and hire top talent, retain and engage our teams, and oversee core HR functions by maintaining compliance with HR policies and regulatory requirements while fostering an inclusive workplace culture. The role will support the VP of HR and the HR team in management development and building partnerships with business leaders to facilitate organizational people strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop strategic sourcing approaches including competitive research, industry profiling, and direct outreach to attract, interview, and hire top talent across a range of hard-to-fill and high-volume roles.
- Maintains, analyzes, and reports hiring statistics and recruiting activity data.
- Foster a positive employee experience by promoting open communication and a culture of feedback.
- Manage complex employee relations issues and investigations with professionalism and discretion.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date, legally compliant, and effectively communicated.
- Oversee compensation administration, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee corporate HR operations including job descriptions, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Support initiatives that enhance employee development, career growth, and skill building
- Support leadership in workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Regularly review HR metrics to analyze recruitment, hiring, retention, turnover, etc. to recommend adjustments to strategies and/or program development.
- Build strong partnership with business leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related issues and planning.
- Actively identify gaps, proposes and implements necessary changes to cover risks.
- Handle conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and internal investigations as needed.
- Conduct training sessions on HR topics such as interviewing, onboarding, performance management and compliance.
- Manage employee engagement initiatives and support a positive workplace culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar required.
- HR Certification: PHR or SHRM-CP, HRCI preferred.
- 7 or more years of progressive responsibility in HR and recruitment roles including sourcing and full life cycle recruiting in multiple states.
- Demonstrated track record of success in recruiting and sourcing of niche and senior level candidates. Knowledge of aggressive recruitment strategies for high growth organizations.
- Considerable knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures related to Human Resources and Recruitment. Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws; experience with EEO/AAP requirements and reporting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of best practices in HR, including employment law nationwide with demonstrated success in handling sensitive legal issues.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior leaders and a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action.
