WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) …

We are currently seeking an experienced and service-oriented Scheduler & Receptionist to join our team. We are a high volume and fast paced medical office, so a positive attitude and exceptional communication skills are required! Coverage will be needed at both of our locations located within a mile of each other. 


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, route calls to the appropriate party and communicate messages as needed.
  • Greet and check-in all visitors and handle inquiries.
  • Collect insurance information and process co-pay/deductibles as needed.
  • Handle patient check-out procedures.
  • Use reference tools to determine the expected payment due at time of service. 
  • Scheduling patient appointments for intake and follow-up appointments
  • Reviewing provider schedules to maintain capacity
  • Resolving scheduling conflict when they arise.
  • Communicating with provider/clinicians daily.
  • Preforming reminder calls for upcoming appointments.

Requirements

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU…

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 or more years’ experience in a busy medical office
  • Experience working in a medical office.
  • Good telephone etiquette.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to work with a variety of personalities with sensitivity.
  • Ability to thrive and maintain composure in a fast-paced and high-volume medical office.
  • Punctual, reliable and dependable.
