Job Description:
Long-Lewis Tuscumbia is looking for a motivated and supportive Porter/Service Support Coordinator. In this role. you’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and professional service experience for our customers. This position combines elements of customer service, scheduling, and service department support. You'll assist with follow-ups, schedule routine maintenance and diagnostic appointments, and help customers access our courtesy transportation options when their vehicle is in for service.

What You’ll Do:
Customer Support & Service Coordination:
Monitor and follow up on missed call logs to ensure all customer inquiries are addressed promptly
Schedule oil changes, diagnostic appointments, and other routine services
Assist customers with booking into our courtesy transportation program (e.g. loaner vehicles, shuttles, or ride-share options)
Support customers with general questions related to service timelines, status, and expectations
Help coordinate smooth drop-off and pick-up processes
Communicate professionally with service advisors, technicians, and other team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Assist with light administrative duties related to service scheduling and coordination
Porter-Style Support Duties:
- Greet customers arriving to the Service Department and guide them through the next steps
- Assist with moving vehicles on the service lot when needed (non-driving role, such as organizing keys or documenting vehicle locations)
- Help ensure the service drive and waiting areas are clean, organized, and customer-ready at all times
- Prepare courtesy transportation vehicles (e.g., confirm reservation info, clean interiors, or communicate availability to customers)
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn scheduling or DMS software
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude with a focus on customer service
- Previous dealership or service department experience is a plus, but not required
