PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to support manufacturing operations.
- Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management across domestic and international vendors.
- Collaborate with Category Sourcing and Supplier Development teams to manage regional/global supplier relationships.
- Lead sourcing initiatives including VA/VE analysis, cost modeling, and supplier innovation events.
- Monitor and mitigate inflationary pressures and supply risks.
- Direct purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of production materials, consumables, and services.
- Manage plan for every part methodology to achieve desired inventory levels through demand planning, safety stock optimization, and lead time management
- Drive scenario planning and risk assessments to support agile decision-making in response to demand variability or supply chain volatility
- Support the resolution of material shortages, non-conforming materials, and excess inventory disposition.
- Serve as a key contributor to the SIOP process, aligning sourcing strategies with demand forecasts, inventory targets, and production plans.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Finance, and Commercial teams ensuring integration into the monthly SIOP cycle.
- Analyze supply constraints, lead times, and capacity risks to proactively address potential disruptions.
- Ensure accurate vendor invoicing and maintain master data integrity in SAP.
- Coordinate with Planning, Production, Engineering, and Customer Service to meet service level commitments.
- Lead and develop a team of sourcing and purchasing professionals.
- Foster collaboration across Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Commercial teams.
- Ensure alignment of team goals with business unit KPIs and objectives.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Experienced leader with the ability to proactively communicate at all levels and with all functions.
- Experience in industrial, sanitary, or food & beverage markets.
- Track record of delivering measurable sourcing savings and operational improvements.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global organization.
- Strong leadership background, including ability to motivate and foster productive team environment.
- Ability to be self-directed, but able to integrate with managers up and down the organization to achieve desired outcomes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing global teams and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of SIOP, MRP systems, supplier development, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Lean or Six Sigma certification a plus
- APICS or CPIM certification preferred
