Join our dynamic team as the Vice President, Mission Products, where you will build and lead a team to develop and produce mid-tier RADAR and Electronic Warfare products to primarily serve US DoD and Prime Contractor customers.  As a P&L lead, you will be responsible for producing detailed engineering and production plans/budgets, coordinate with BD/Marketing on campaign plans/sales forecasts and coordinate with finance to build rigorous business cases that lead to sustainably profitable product lines.  This challenging position will require extensive P&L experience in both engineering services and product development/fielding as well as substantial systems engineering expertise in RADAR and Electronic Warfare products.  You will oversee the performance and development of mission-critical product lines, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals. As a member of the LEI leadership team, you will be expected to provide timely and accurate reporting on P&L plans, risks and financial performance, while leveraging the BD/marketing, financial, compliance, security, and HR resources to facilitate accelerated growth.

Duties:

Develop and execute strategic plans to drive profitability and growth for mission products.

- Oversee the financial performance of the product portfolio, ensuring revenue and profit targets are met or exceeded.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product strategies with market demands and business objectives.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes related to the mission product line.

- Identify and implement cost optimization strategies without compromising product quality or customer satisfaction.

- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform product development and strategic decisions.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.

- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product offerings and operational efficiencies.

- Lead and mentor a team of product managers and analysts to achieve high performance and professional growth.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all aspects of product management and operations.


Skills/Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in relevant Engineering Field

- MBA or Executive Training in P&L leadership, strategy, and marketing

- Minimum of 15 years of technical experience in DoD EW and/or RADAR Systems Engineering, including building and leading technical teams and a deep knowledge of customer use cases and fielding challenges.

- Minimum of 15 years of P&L leadership experience and a track record of success in growing new business and product lines.

- Minimum of 20 years of DoD acquisition experience, including contracting approaches, proposal development, cost/pricing, program planning, financial reporting, and other compliance requirements.

- Proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans to drive product profitability.

- Experience in managing engineering and production subcontractors/partners to deliver quality products to demanding schedules.

- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- In-depth knowledge of market analysis and competitive strategy.

- Strong understanding of financial metrics and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Experience in the technology or mission-driven sectors is preferred.

- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

- Proven ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

- This role requires substantial domestic and international travel.

- Active DoD Secret or higher clearance is required.
