What You’ll Do:

Lead Safety Programs

  • Partner with leadership to identify risks, address gaps, and create proactive safety initiatives.
  • Coordinate with contracted vendors and the HR Safety team to maintain environmental, health, and safety compliance.

Support HR Operations

  • Administer leave programs including FMLA, STD, and LTD for site employees.
  • Administer the workers’ compensation process, including claims, tracking, and return-to-work programs.
  • Maintain and update confidential HRIS data with accuracy and security.
  • Provide guidance to leaders and employees on policies, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Partner with the broader HR team to align site operations with company-wide initiatives.

Be a Trusted Resource

  • Serve as the site’s Safety and Environmental Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Provide leadership in safety culture development and employee engagement.
  • Support continuous improvement through audits, reporting, and recommendations.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of Safety experience in a manufacturing environment (machine safety, robotics, or automated operations experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong grasp of OSHA standards and compliance requirements, especially Hazard Communication, LOTO, PPE, walking/working surfaces, machine guarding, electrical safety, fire safety, emergency action plans, respiratory protection, confined spaces, and OSHA recordkeeping/reporting.
