Safety Specialist| Danville, PA presso HazTek Inc.

Responsibilities:

The Safety Specialist in Danville, PA supports specific project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety.

• Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects to ensure OSHA compliance

• Conduct daily safety meetings, site orientations, and toolbox talks

• Perform field audits, routine inspections, and heavy equipment inspections

• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe operation of tools and equipment

• Prepare Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) or equivalent documentation

• Process and monitor safe work permits (Hot Work, Lockout/Tagout, etc.)

• Investigate project incidents and complete reports

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required

• OSHA 30-hour in Construction required

• First Aid/CPR certification a plus

• OSHA 500 certification a plus

• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and OSHA regulations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
