Phlebotomist presso Nashville General Hospital

Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Phlebotomist for Full-time Day Shift in Nashville, TN.

This position is primarily responsible for properly collecting, processing and disseminating specimens collected by venipuncture. Maintains appropriate records and makes verbal or written reports to nurses and physicians. This is a Monday-Friday position working 8 hour shifts!

As a Phlebotomist you will:

• Correctly processes and distribute specimens
• Properly collect venipuncture specimens
• Receives and interprets physician orders
• Strives to improve overall effectiveness of department
• Performs tracers and observations of clinical practices to assess

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

• Completion of approved phlebotomy program
• Holds a High School Diploma
• 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred
