The Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research (DVCR) will lead the development and implementation of the University’s research strategy, ensuring the academic and financial sustainability of research and the strengthening of the University’s research partnerships and overall reputation. Pivotal to this role will be the ability to create a research culture, working in partnership with the Executive Deans and Research Centre Directors.

TUA seeks a visionary research leader with executive experience, global outlook and entrepreneurial mindset. Candidates will also exhibit an appropriate record of research leadership and capability in order to have the credibility to drive research excellence, foster innovation, build strategic partnerships, and create a thriving research culture with real-world impact. Outstanding communication skills and a data-led approach to decision-making are essential, as is the ability to influence, inspire, think creatively and exercise sound judgement.
