Position Purpose:
The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for working inthe club’s golf shop and providing customer service to members and guests.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Adheres topolicies of GoldOller Real Estate Investments.
- Opens and closes the Pro Shop and performs all associated duties.
- Acts on behalf of the Golf Director byadministering existing policies and regulations.
- Responsible for interacting with members andguests and providing excellent customer service.
- Uses a computerized cash register to collectgolf fees and make retail merchandise sales.
- Completes necessary registration paperwork.
- Determines order of play and calls players tothe first tee making sure to stay on time.
- Answers the phone and makes reservations.
- Provides information and answers questionsconcerning various programs.
- Receives, prices and stocks various retailitems.
- Assists with inventory count of retail items.
- Keeps the golf shop clean and orderly.
- When requested, pulls carts out and washesgolf carts, puts carts in the storage area at the end of the day, empties trashand keeps the cart storage area clean and orderly.
- When assigned or requested, performs otherduties related to the maintenance and operations of a golf course.
- Reports any incident or accident to theFacility Manager on duty. Ensures the safety of all residents, regardless ofage.
- Maintains constant surveillance of patrons inthe facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons inthe event of emergency.
- Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
§ Education: High school diploma or GED, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year sales orcustomer service experience.
- Physical: Ability to lift, push and pull and carry up to 25 pounds. Physical elements of the job may require frequent standing (and standing for long periods of time) and walking, squatting, reaching, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, balancing, and carrying.
- Ability towork a flexible schedule.
- Basic mathskills.
- This position required the use of a Point-of-Sale system, computer,and calculator.
- Display aprofessional appearance with appropriate dress/uniform.
