Position: Global Inventory Control Intern
Job Description:
The intern will have the opportunity to be a part of the “hub” of the Mary Kay Supply Chain and gain firsthand experience working in a global supply chain setting. The intern will spend the first few weeks rotating through various functional areas within the department and shadowing individuals in their daily roles. The intern will have the opportunity to attend a variety of supply chain related meetings with various team members. The intern will own both daily tasks as well as supply chain based project that is to be completed by the end of summer. The project will be meaningful and drive change within supply chain. The intern will complete a weekly blog submitted to the department. The intern will participate in an end of summer presentation nto the team.

• End of summer presentation to the entire team with Supply Planning and Inventory Control
• The opportunity to understand difference between commodities and how they are managed and planned for
• Attend staff and cross functional team meetings to gain perspective on topics discussed
Summer intern will continue the Material Planning Source map initiative started in the Summer of 2020 to map and visualize our supply chain and supply network.
