RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support overall selling strategies and tactics that result in new account business generation
- Manage your territories book of business to achieve growth goals
- Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
- Generate new leads and opportunities
- Provide product and technical information to customers
- Provide superior service to clients, existing accounts and maintain exceptional client relations
- Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications
- Work Closely with End Users across the country focusing on Direct sales and relationship building.
- Work Closely and foster relationships with 3rd Party Installation partners
- Perform Jobsite & General Industry Site Visits assisting customers with product recommendations and fall arrest system design.
- Work Closely with Manufacturer Representatives and Internal sales team across the region to help build their knowledge of permanent fall arrest systems.
- Travel (50%+)
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks while working both independently and with a team
- Ability to respond appropriately to constant change in priorities and services as dictated by management and customer needs
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people through both verbal and written communication lines

- Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics, develop sales plans and accurately forecast sales

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position may require standing, sitting, and/or walking for extended amounts of time while communicating with customers and processing paperwork, working on a computer and making inbound/outbound calls. Some lifting, bending, reaching and squatting throughout the shift while sorting and moving product. Must be able to climb a 100-foot ladder. Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Must be able to complete our Competent Person Training which will include use of products at heights and repelling.
