Van Driver presso Bonsall Unified School District

May perform any combination of the following: • Drives an assigned route on a daily basis to safely transport students to and from school, as scheduled by the Lead Bus Driver. • Performs general mechanical inspection of van daily prior to driving. • Picks up and discharges students, controlling the loading and unloading to ensure safety of passengers. Physically assists students with special needs, as needed. • Maintains proper discipline of students, following district policies and making necessary reports to the Lead Bus Driver. • Reports needed van maintenance and repairs to District Mechanic. • Collect and deliver mail/items to main office at designated site • Performs other related duties as required.

Upon hiring, the following will be required at the District's expense: - Negative TB Test - Successful DOJ fingerprint/screening - Physical Test - Negative Drug Screen This position is 5 hours per day. The daily schedule will be a split shift and times will be determined by the route assigned.

Classified Salary Schedule Range 5

This position is 5 hours per day, 5 days per week on the 10-month employee calendar. The daily schedule will be a split shift and times will be determined by the route assigned. Employee health and welfare benefits are included at no cost.
