Position Overview 

Apex Skin is a rapidly growing, skincare facility that empowers employees to deliver exceptional patient experiences. The Practice Manager of Aesthetics is responsible for planning, directing and coordination of associates and tasks within our clinics. The primary function of this role is to drive and manage the sales of Aesthetics by building a selling culture within all of Apex as well as manage employees.

This is a Salaried exempt position. This position requires legal authorization to work in the US.

Although this position will be based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Mayfield Heights, travel to other Apex Skin locations is required as this is a multi-site leadership role.

 

Essential Functions 

  • Ensuring operational efficiency in each office.
  • Managing a regional budget and ensuring that each office operates within the aesthetic budget and monitoring each Aesthetic office’s P&L reports.
  • Ensuring that the Aesthetic office locations under their supervision adhere to company policies, procedures and industry regulations.
  • Ensuring that all offices meet safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards while maintaining the Apex quality aesthetic.
  • Promptly addressing operational and personnel problems that arise.
  • Standardize a review process for each Aesthetic Provider’s metrics (financial goals, revenue projections, obstacles) on a minimum monthly basis.
  • Liaising between branches and company headquarters on all Aesthetic matters.
  • Ensuring that Aesthetic patient care levels are consistent across the offices.
  • Maintain clear, open and solution-oriented communication.
  • Create and deliver reports to Aesthetic Providers and Practice Managers.
  • Consistently traveling to multiple office locations on a daily basis.
  • Train and manage the performance of Aesthetic Providers and Aesthetic teams.
  • Coach and enforce methods for Aesthetic Providers and staff as well as work in tandem with General Dermatology Providers to promote the benefits of upselling products, services, packages and membership and referral programs.
  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring of Aesthetic staff
  • Increase patient retention by exhibiting Apex Core Values and providing access to desired care for Aesthetic patients.
  • Participate in offices events, marketing events and social media campaigns.
  • Delegate administrative duties as needed- including patient consultations, working through MedStar lead generations, scheduling consults, scheduling aesthetic/cosmetic patients, and partnering with Aesthetic Nurses to follow up with any other patient comments and concerns.
  • Provides consistent and accurate inventory and par levels for each location.
  • Ability to grow Aesthetic revenue and patient count in designated office using knowledge and methods of showing, promoting and selling products and services using proven marketing strategies and tactics, product demonstrations and sales techniques to meet and/or exceed the goals set forth by the VP of Aesthetics and Sales.

 

Requirements

  • Previous work experience in management position.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage others.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate across different levels of the organization.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer operating systems such as Windows and Outlook.
  • Strongly self-motivated.
  • Quantitative aptitude and experience managing budgets.
  • Leadership and independent decision-making ability.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skill

 

Preferred

  • Minimum Associate’s degree in management or related field of study
  • 2-5 years in a sales or leadership role
