The Compliance Support Analyst’s role will be to. Monitor vendor agreements, conduct vendor audits, and perform annual vendor risk assessments. Gather and collect the necessary due diligence to ensure vendor security meets the company policy. Prepare vendor management performance summaries for management. Work with vendor stakeholders to ensure expected performance. Assist with the review and research of federal and state regulatory changes. Assist with the coordination of state and federal audits of the company for regulatory compliance. Perform various operational compliance audits at the direction of leadership. Review HMDA data for accurate LAR reporting. Provide accurate and detailed reporting for various state MCR requirements. Assist with data analysis for Fair Lending and Red Lining. Provide recommendations to management for policy and procedure changes
Duties
In addition to all duties described in an employment contract, company policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, Employee shall have the following additional duties (collectively, “Duties”), subject to change in the discretion of radius’ management:
- Perform initial and ongoing vendor contract due diligence risk assessment.
- Provide accurate and detailed reporting on the company’s vendor portfolio.
- Analyze tier one vendor contracts for non-conforming requirements and report areas of concern to stakeholders.
- Provide accurate and detailed data for reporting various state MCR requirements.
- Assist with HMDA data review monthly as required for annual LAR reporting requirements.
- Coordinate the review of loan data for Fair Lending and Red Lining.
- Assist with review and required change management for any applicable federal and state regulatory changes.
- Provide accurate and timely status reports to management.
- Perform operational compliance audits as directed by leadership.
- Assist compliance officer managing loan-level and other compliance matters, such as compliance. monitoring, training, and reporting.
- Support radius’ core values.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- All employees are responsible for being familiar with and able to recognize common fraud scenarios or outright instances of fraud and reporting any reasonably suspected fraud to his/her direct manager and the AML Officer.
In addition to being qualified to perform the duties described above, Employee must also possess the following skills and qualifications.
Preferences
- Familiar with Vendor Management Tracking Software and Vendor risk assessments.
- Experience in auditing mortgage operational compliance rules/laws.
- Familiar with HMDA data analysis, MCR, and LAR reporting.
- Versed in Excel reporting, SQL, or other data analysis.
- 2+ years of mortgage experience in operational compliance, processing, underwriting, loan quality, or internal audit.
- Understanding of mortgage federal regulatory compliance, loan program guidelines, and practices.
- Ability to self-manage time, complete job responsibilities without a lot of oversight.
- Computer and software proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks as responsibilities at once.
- High level of organizational ability and administrative skills.
- Strong verbal (oral and written) skills required.
