Job Summary
Antenna Research Associates, Inc. is looking for an Accountant with a focus on Accounts Payable. This role will be responsible for performing vouchering of AP invoices, reconciling GL accounts and vendor accounts. They must have a solid understanding of accounting principles. This position will be support to the assistant controller and will be an integral part of the accounting team.
Essential Functions

- Monitor PO Commitment report for receipt of product and perform a three-way match.
- Perform a daily review of the accounts payable (AP) listing errors.
- Reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger.
- Vouchering AP expense invoices.
- Support the reconciling of AP credit card statements with supporting invoices from ARA team members.
- Preparing credit application requests.
- Perform daily reconciliation of the bank to book cash balances match to Director of Accounting’s records.
- Assist with financial statement analysis and audits.
- Ensure proper coding and timely posting of G&A invoices.
- Reconciling general ledger accounts each month.
- Designing Excel spreadsheets to assist in the streamlining of the AO, GL and ad hoc processes.
- Support for the accounting team.

Experience and Skills
- 2-4 years of experience.
- Understanding of general accounting principles.
- Proven experience performing three-way match (PO, receipt, invoice) and vouchering AP expense invoices in a structured ERP environment.
- Demonstrated ability to reconcile vendor statements, credit card activity, and GL accounts accurately and on time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
- Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced accounting team with a strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
- Strong time-management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
Education
- BS BA degree in accounting or business.
- Associate’s degree in accounting may be considered depending on experience.
