Join us as a temporary part-time Administrative Assistant in an essential role in supporting the Office of the President Board of Trustees Office. A team of talented individuals who share our passion for efficiency and excellence with administration, students, faculty, and staff.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Reports to the administrative staff.
  • Handles confidential information.
  • Manages daily administrative tasks, including answering phones, scheduling, copying, scanning, organizing board documents, and assisting in preparing yearly calendar meetings.
  • Assists in coordinating team meetings and events and prepares agendas.
  • Assists in project management, policy documents by tracking deadlines and facilitating communication.
  • Handles expense reporting, invoicing, and basic accounting tasks.
  • Provides excellent customer service to administration, students, faculty, and staff.

 

SPECIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of two years of administrative support experience.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and database systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

HOURLY RATE/BENEFITS

  • $20/HR
  • Pension eligible
  • 403B eligible

Hours: 20 - 25 per week - including one evening a month.
