Description
Summary:
Process all manufactured sample book orders and make sure all assigned book files are on schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to communicate and execute processes needed to manufacture sample books.
- Processing needed information for new sample books and sending information to our sample book makers for production.
- Keep and maintain all sample book files assigned.
- Create and print labels for internal samples.
- Communicate with all sample book makers and product development personnel.’
- Follow up on fabric deliveries with our purchasing department.
- Create packing list for shipping fabric.
- Create packing list for shipping sample books to our sales force and showrooms.
- Open and distribute all incoming mail.
- Box and prepare packages for daily shipments.
- Delivering sample books to internal customers.
- Use materials and equipment effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience a must
- Data entry skills or AS400 experience, a plus.
- Proofing skills and attention to detail, a must.
- Good follow through and organizational skills
- Display reasoning ability and independent judgment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good math skills
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Plans and organizes work for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
- Must communicate with courtesy and professionalism.
