Shuttle Operator FT presso Black Oak Casino Resort

SUMMARY:  Responsible for picking up and delivering Guests and Team Members on and off premises and assisting in training new operators.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)

• Completes Operator’s Daily Inspection and Vehicle Condition Report.
• Transports Team Members and Guests to and from Resort or as otherwise directed.
• Ensures safe transportation of Guests and Team Members.
• Operates the wheelchair lift and secures the wheelchair with tie-down straps.
• Installs and removes tire chains and operate drop-down chains.
• Physically inspects vehicle including, but not limited to, tire inspections and fluid levels.
• Operates the seat extractor.
• Provides excellent Guest service to both internal and external Guests.
• Maintains a safe and clean vehicle, inside and out.
• Adheres to all Black Oak Casino Policies and Procedures.
• Assists Guests by safely directing vehicles.
• Directs Guests and Team Members, when necessary, to park in designated areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements: 

• Must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license w/passenger endorsement.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Black Oak Casino driver’s permit.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification within introductory period.
• Must be able to communicate using a portable 2-way radio and/or cell phone.
• Must be able to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test.
• Must be able to obtain a valid gaming license.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Physical Demands:

• Must be physically able to perform all job requirements.
• Required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move over 100 lbs with assistance.

Work Environment:

• Must be able to work in a non-smoke free environment.
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment with exposure to oscillation movements (vibration) of the extremities or whole body.
•  Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events. Required to work around moving machinery with possible exposure to dust and fumes.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Required to wear protective equipment such as gloves, weather gear, etc.
