- Work in laboratory environment to validate designs and correlate measurements
- Take measurements and run experiments using VNA, TDR and other high-speed test equipment
- Create and execute test plans
- Follow best practices and methods for high-speed electrical measurement
- Understand industry leading techniques and analyze impact for implementation
- Manage test queue per priorities set by engineering management
- Demonstrate precision, attention to detail, and the ability to use software tools
- Maintain and improve required administrative systems
- Generate reports and provide analysis for high-speed test data as needed
- Must have a systematic approach to defining and solving problems.
- Experience in an electrical test environment (Signal Integrity Experience is preferred)
- Familiarity with high volume connector manufacturing methods & processes is a plus
- Must be able handle multiple projects simultaneously as priorities can change very quickly.
- Communication skills are a must as this person will interact with engineers in different disciplines & sometimes with members of management.
- Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
- Associates Degree in Engineering, related field, or relevant experience.
