Van-Am Tool & Engineering is hiring a Welding Supervisor to lead our welding department across multiple facilities in St. Joseph, MO. This role oversees a team of welders, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, schedule, and supervise welding operations (MIG, TIG, robotic).

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate welders of all skill levels.

  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer specifications.

  • Maintain welding equipment, consumables, and supplies.

  • Promote safety and enforce OSHA/company policies.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of welding supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing.

  • Strong background in MIG, TIG, and robotic welding.

  • Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • AWS certification preferred, not required.
