QUALIFICATIONS:

• Holds a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College
• Meets all licensure requirements including teaching or specialist area endorsement in the state of Illinois
• Demonstrates current pedagogical practices in the classroom through participation in a professional learning community
• Demonstrates ability to utilize a variety of data sources and problem-solving structures in order to ensure the academic and social-emotional success of all students.  Makes data-driven decisions using formative and summative assessments

• Demonstrates content knowledge and makes connections between content and all relevant disciplines.
• Understands child and adolescent development and displays an understanding of how students learn.
• Establishes and clearly articulates instructional outcomes based upon district curriculum guidelines, state standards, and/or content standards.

• Employment determined by school calendar.
• Salary and benefits to be established in the Negotiated Agreement with the Board of Education. Starting salary is $52,932.

EVALUATION: The School Principal and/or immediate administrative supervisor will serve as the evaluator with the evaluation incorporating the guidelines established in the Evaluation Plan for Licensed Staff.
