Role: Service coordinator
Salary: £31,900 - £37,300 per annum dependant on qualifications and experience.
Location: Birmingham
Contract/Hours: Permanent, full-time working 37 hours a week.
This is a hybrid role working in the office 3 days a week, we can be flexible on these days’ dependant on team meetings as you will need to attend these in person.

A bit about the role:
Action for Children deliver Young Carers in Birmingham. Young carers have a caring responsibility for a parent, sibling, or family member.
As Service coordinator you will operationally run the service managing an established team of five practitioners and two seniors.
We will actively support you in your role as Service Coordinator and provide you with regular supervision / APR process and specialist training including a commitment to achieve Leadership and Management qualification.

To travel across Birmingham to attend meetings, training, and events.

Enthusiastic about making a positive difference in young people’s lives.
Experience of supervising and supporting a staff team.
To hold or to be willing to work towards a qualification relevant to the work or experience and ongoing professional development.
Knowledge and experience of quality assurance approach to children's/young adults services.
Experience of analysing data and management information to support continual service improvement and development.
