Summary
The Financial Service Provider Structurer plays a critical role in securing funding for consumer loan applications submitted by our dealer partners. This position involves collaborating closely with dealerships, understanding their financial needs, and designing customized financing solutions. The FSP Structurer ensures efficient funding processes while maintaining strong relationships with dealer networks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Dealer Partner Relationships:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with dealership partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters related to loan applications.
- Collaborate with dealers to understand their specific funding requirements.
- Securing Funding:
- Evaluate loan applications received from dealerships.
- Assess creditworthiness, risk factors, and compliance with lending guidelines.
- Work closely with internal teams to structure financing solutions that meet dealer and customer needs.
- Customized Financing Solutions:
- Design bespoke financing programs tailored to individual dealerships.
- Consider legal, regulatory, and tax implications when creating funding options.
- Ensure flexibility while adhering to constraints specific to each dealer’s business.
- New Dealer Onboarding:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new dealers.
- Provide training on financing procedures, documentation, and compliance.
- Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with loan funding.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
- Implement risk assessment strategies to protect the organization.
- Performance Metrics:
- Monitor loan approval rates, turnaround times, and portfolio quality.
- Generate regular reports on funding activities and performance.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of dealership F&I experience.
Skills
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with various loan products (e.g., auto loans, personal loans) and their features. Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) familiarity
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, underwriting, and compliance teams.
- Problem-Solving: Structurers often encounter unique scenarios; the ability to think creatively and find solutions is essential.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with dealers, internal teams, and senior management.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type and look at a computer screen for long periods of the day. The employee must be able to sit for long periods of time.
