PCSI is looking for a Material Coordinator at our Ft. Knox Boss contract! Candidate will coordinate and expedite flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments and vendors. This position will report to the Procurement Manager and is based out of Ft. Knox, Kentucky. Typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

What You'll Do as Material Coordinator:
- Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine material required or overdue and to locate material.
- Requisitions material and establishes delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material.
- Arranges with department supervisors for material and its transportation to various departments.
- May compile report of quantity and type of material on hand.
- May move or transport material from one department to another, using hand truck or industrial truck.
- Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Requires working knowledge of and operation of windows applications, to include MS Office.
- Five years related experience with the ability to perform the assigned duties.
- Experience in a maintenance environment is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- This is primarily a sedentary position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 20 pounds or less.
- Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard.
- Must have the hand/eye coordination necessary to operate office business machines (calculator, phone, fax, copier, etc.) and a personal computer.
- Hearing and speech sufficient to verbally communicate in person and on the telephone.
- Mobility to frequently alternate between sitting, standing, and moving about the facilities.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction and supervision.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
- Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
- Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
- Possess valid Kentucky State driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
- If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
