We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role demands a versatile individual with advanced abilities in both mechanical and electrical disciplines. The successful candidate will be a proven leader, capable of taking ownership of complex repairs, mentoring colleagues, and driving continuous improvement. This individual will work independently with minimal supervision, while supporting and improving key metrics: Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery, and Continuous Improvement.

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, boilers, and compressed air systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues within the facility.
- Monitor and maintain building infrastructure including lighting, doors, restrooms, and safety systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and equipment installations.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors as needed.
- Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Compressed air systems
- Boiler operation and maintenance
- HVAC systems (diagnostics, repair, and maintenance)
- General building maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
Preferred Skills:
- EPA Universal Certification for HVAC.
- Boiler Operator License.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Basic electrical and plumbing skills.
