We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Data & Analytics Manager to represent our global Data & Analytics team in the North American (NORAM) region.

 

This role will serve as the local ambassador for data initiatives, acting as the key liaison between business stakeholders and the central data team. You will play a critical role in understanding local business needs, promoting data governance best practices, and supporting data reporting & visualization efforts using Power BI.

 

This position has a dual reporting line:

  • Functional reporting to the VP IT, based in Chicago, ensuring alignment with local needs and initiatives
  • Hierarchical reporting to the Head of Data Governance within the central team based in Suresnes, France, supporting the implementation and oversight of data frameworks across the Group

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Data & Analytics in the NORAM region
  • Collect and analyze local business requirements related to data and reporting
  • Communicate the value of data governance and the related adoption of policies and standards, and embed then into daily data operations
  • Collaborate with central Data & Analytics teams to ensure alignment and consistency with processes in place and roadmap
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support decision-making
  • Facilitate data literacy via promoting common data understanding, bridge the gap between business & data, and raise awareness initiatives across local teams
  • Prepare & contribute to empowering local teams on data topic, like training or workshop
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, accessibility, and usage

 

Desired Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field, Master’s preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data management and analytics (or related fields)
  • Passionate about the Data world
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, BigQuery, PowerBI
  • Experience in using or implementing a Data Catalog tool
  • Professional rigor, method, and organization
  • Pragmatism and a sense of commitment
  • Autonomy and ability to work in a team
  • Excellent communication skills, good listening and dialogue capabilities, with a well-developed analytical mindset

 

Working Conditions:  Work is performed largely in a hybrid office environment, minimum 2 days per week in Chicago office.  Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours a week.  At times there will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines and other concerns.  Occasional travel may be necessary up to 10% of the time with atleast one trip to Paris, France per year.

Total Rewards:

Base Salary: $140,000 - $160,000

Bonus Potential: 23%
