Under the supervision of the Senior Associate Registrar, the Student Services Coordinator is responsible for assisting medical students in changes to their clinical schedule, supports the ERAS (residency) application process, assists in the annual clinical scheduling process, assists with course registration, and coordinates timely submission of clinical grades. In addition, the Student Services Coordinator packages financial aid for the Pharmacy students and provides financial aid counseling. Provides support for office-related responsibilities for all colleges, assisting the Senior Associate Registrar, and the Financial Aid division.

Job Description

Essential Functions

  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Assists medical students with clinical rotation registration and processes related to registration forms.
  • Supports students’ residency applications with ERAS and other residency application systems.
  • Assists students with Away Rotations applications (VSLO) and Research opportunities.
  • Maintain entry and tracking of NBME USMLE Scores (Step 1 and 2CK) in Banner.
  • Processes financial aid for the School of Pharmacy students.
  • Counsels Pharmacy students on financial aid questions and concerns.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):

  • Problem solving, decision making, interpreting data, organizing, computer skills (typing, Microsoft Office)

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

AND

Experience:

  • Experience with Banner or other student enterprise system preferred.
  • Experience in higher education preferred.

Additional Information

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
