Minimum starting salary $77,497.47 with an excellent benefits package including employer paid pension contribution | Employees of The Florida Bar are eligible to apply for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF).  

Summary function: Responsible for business application development, project management and ongoing support for applications supporting The Florida Bar's Programs Division.

Required minimum education: Bachelor's degree in one of the computer sciences or related field.

Required minimum professional work experience: Five years of business analysis or project management experience. Experience supporting business process development working as a Business Analyst or Project Manager or certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP). Additional related experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

Required licensure certification(s): PMP or other project management professional certification is preferred.

Additional information: Two (2) years of staff or project management preferred. Additional computer systems analysis and support or business systems development experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis. Normal business hours are 8:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m. Mon-Fri (occasional nights and/or weekends). Minimal travel requirements.   Potential travel times includes: Training, Conferences and Software Implementation.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Business solutions (application) requirements, process definition and reengineering.

Project Management - full life cycle of project management: analysis, requirements gathering and documentation, design, testing, implementation, training and support.

Support - Process analysis, training, problem resolution.

Administration - timekeeping, documenting procedures, purchasing (as assigned).

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge:

- Project management best practices and methodologies including traditional and Agile.

- Business analysis techniques and best practices.

- General knowledge of IT environments and computer systems.

- Pertinent software; including Microsoft Office products (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook), and Salesforce, JIRA and Confluence.

 Skills:

- System and process analysis.

- Project planning, including defining and documenting business needs, project scope, functional requirements.

- Practices and techniques of project/task management.

- Communication of technical concepts to non-technical staff.

- Critical thinking and problem solving.

Abilities:

- Design, facilitate development and test business solutions using The Florida Bar's methodologies and standards.

- Implement and support computer systems to support identified business needs.

- Gather, analyze and document project requirements and specifications.

- Design and execute manual test cases, report test results, work closely with development to resolve issues.

- Develop training plans and assist with training end users in proper application of systems identified to solve business needs.

- Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

- Work in a collaborative team environment. Interact effectively and courteously with a wide variety of people both within and without the organization.

- Troubleshoot, identify and solve problems.

- Use discretion and independent judgment.

- Sit for long periods of time, hear and converse over the telephone, and key/work frequently on a computer.

- Lift 5 to 10 lbs.
