Audience Marketing Associate - Campaign
Haymarket Media, Inc. is seeking an Audience Marketing Associate to join the Haymarket Media Audience Development and Subscription Marketing team. This position is based in our New York office, with three days on-site (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a team flex day) and two days remote. The Audience Marketing Associate will directly support the growth of group subscriptions and audience engagement for Campaign, contributing to the brand’s subscriber base and long-term retention.
Job Overview: The Audience Marketing Associate will play a key role in supporting subscription sales and deepening engagement with group accounts and readers. This position focuses on executing audience development tactics that drive registrations, subscriptions, and ongoing interaction with our content and products. The role combines hands-on campaign execution, data tracking, and collaboration across internal teams to support subscription revenue goals.
Responsibilities
Support group subscription sales efforts by executing marketing campaigns that highlight the value of multi-user access.
Develop and execute audience-focused marketing tactics to increase engagement with current group subscribers and individual readers.
Identify and segment target audiences based on title, demographics, behaviors, and preferences.
Coordinate and execute promotional emails, digital ad campaigns, retargeting, and PPC to drive subscription growth and usage.
Assist in developing messaging and creative that effectively communicates subscription value propositions to targeted audiences.
Support business development opportunities such as barters/partnerships with industry associations and conferences to grow the audience pipeline.
Research group subscriber earned media for editorial content and award activity.
Create compelling subscription-focused content for email campaigns, social media, and promotional materials.
Maintain content calendars to ensure consistent delivery of subscription-related marketing messages.
Monitor performance and engagement metrics for subscription campaigns.
Provide regular reporting on campaign outcomes, highlighting subscriber growth, engagement levels, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with editorial, creative, and sales teams to align subscription messaging with brand goals.
Assist with resolving customer service and subscription inquiries for Haymarket Media brands.
Skills and Requirements
1–2+ years of experience in audience development or marketing.
Detail-oriented and able to manage simultaneous activities effectively.
Proficient with digital marketing tools and comfortable learning new systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.

The salary range for this position is $50,000–$55,000. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, skill level, functional and/or industry knowledge, education level, certifications, as well as other qualifications.
