The Production Lead will be responsible for the supervision of Production Team Members and managing all personnel aspects related to the 2nd shift Production Group. The Production Lead will also be responsible for production work and will be a significant contributor.
Position Duties:
50% of the time managing 2nd shift Production personnel:
- Scheduling candidates for overtime
- Managing the production efficiency and providing coaching and feedback to the team members when necessary
- Corrective action conversations with Team Members when necessary
- Approving and correcting employee timecards
- Review production schedules and/or receive instructions to determine variety and quantity of goods to produce
- Conduct interviews, train, and develop new team members
50% of the time assisting with Production work on the floor:
- Weigh and measure ingredients using scale and graduated containers
- Load pallets that contain the various products and numerous other ingredients for the mix. This person will be regularly lifting 30-50-pound containers and then load them into the reactor.
- Run and help maintain all equipment associated with production operations.
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Operate or oversee the equipment used in each process of mixing production
Education Requirements
- High School diploma or related work experience
Supervisory Responsibilities
- All Production Technicians report to the Production Lead
