Summary/objective
The Fleet & Facilities Coordinator manages company vehicles, facilities, and related compliance to ensure smooth operations for Flooring Liquidators (FL) and Elite Builder Services (EBS). Responsibilities include overseeing fleet insurance, registrations, driver compliance, building and vehicle maintenance, lease renewals, business licenses, and new location setup. The role also supports the construction team with purchasing and coordinating materials.

• Track and update all FL & EBS vehicles in the fleet management system (insurance, DMV registrations, renewals, and GPS tracking).
• Monitor insurance coverage and ensure compliance with state and company requirements.
• Maintain Class “A” driver compliance with DMV regulations.
• Oversee building and vehicle maintenance, including securing three bids for services and scheduling regular upkeep (oil changes, brakes, tires, batteries, etc.).
• Coordinate rentals of equipment, vehicles, and office equipment as needed.
• Review and reconcile fuel bills to confirm accurate mileage reporting.
• Manage lease renewals and ensure timely landlord communication for extensions or cancellations.
• Obtain business licenses for new locations and maintain compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate setup of new retail locations, including permits, utilities, internet, and vendor services.
• Assist the construction team by purchasing and placing materials on will-call for pickup.
• Support company policies and procedures while safeguarding assets and ensuring operational efficiency.
Required Skills/Abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software necessary to create and maintain reports and logs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Supervisory responsibilities: None
Work environment: Warehouse/Office environment (heat and cold).
Physical demands: Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the facilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
• Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions.

Required education and experience:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 2+ years of related experience required.
• Excellent communication skills
Preferred education and experience
• Flooring knowledge a plus
• Experience in working in the home improvement retail sector
