Review plans and perform material take-offs (great for detail-minded people who like precision).
Assist with cost breakdowns, budgets, and bid preparation.
Work with project managers on RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
Visit job sites to see how estimates become real projects.
Help keep projects on track by managing documentation, reports, and logs.
Collaborate with Estimating, Production, and field crews to gain exposure to the full project cycle.
Shadow experienced Estimators and Project Managers to learn best practices in bidding and project delivery.
Why This Role is a Great Opportunity:
- Perfect for people who enjoy numbers, accuracy, and problem-solving
- Structured career path – promotion/transition expected in 18–24 months
- Hands-on training in both estimating and production/project management
- Exposure to all sides of construction – office, field, and client interaction
- Mentorship from industry experts who want to see you succeed
- Stable company with growth opportunities and a collaborative team culture
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and numbers-driven.
Curious, eager to learn, and excited about a career in construction.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, or OST is a plus.
Ability to read construction plans (training provided).
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Position Details & Benefits:
In-office role: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Compensation: $23–28/hour with up to 25% increase based on performance
Benefits: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with 4% match.
