Brand Manager - Away From Home (AFH) at a glance
Location: Toronto, ON | Hybrid (3 days in-office)
As Brand Manager at Kraft Heinz Canada, you will have a role in leading and executing multi-brand customer marketing plans as well as supporting the strategic development of the brands short and long-term revenue and profit targets in line with corporate objectives in the commercial customer portfolio. You will be responsible for developing the strategic execution of our brands vision at commercial customers with internal stakeholders and communicate this to external customer partners through your passion and excitement. This role will report to Sr Brand Manager Commercial.
What's on the menu?
Represent Marketing at customer meetings for customers that the position will be leading top AFH customers
Execute commercial signature products to customer timeline and adhering to customer ingredient policy packaging requirements and product specifications
Be able to conduct data assessments (customer calendar plan & work with Culinary Insight & Corporate Chef) and clearly provide recommendations to cross-functional team members to develop brand menu customer plans to drive Whitespace opportunities
Lead Clean Label brand projects (Burger King, Tim Hortons & Wendy’s) with support from Sr Brand Manager Commercial & cross functional team
Leads in the development of the AFH Marketing Channel Plans through research, internal data analysis and customer activities. This involves helping identify market opportunities/ issues, customer business priorities and the presentation of options. Use market data and findings for the development of recommendations for channel execution and communication
Leads the launch of high profile products & programs, through engaging with AFH Sales & KH Brand Build, Scale Team and external partners and agencies
Build strong relationships with colleagues in Marketing (immediate team); Marketing Services (Culinary, Insights); shared resources with Kraft Heinz including Business Development, R&D, Supply/Demand Planning; Design/Packaging; and Sales to leverage the overall power of a strong multi-faceted Foodservice team
Provides key business counsel as well as development of customer proposals with Sales to support the growth objectives for Non-Commercial & Retail AFH operators
Execute Customer Marketing contracted branded monies & look for other opportunities for return
Act as analytics lead, sharing actionable Insights from diverse sources, including Direct Link and Technomic. Uses these findings to develop recommendations for strategies & execution, in Innovation & Customer Marketing
Translates business goals into action plans and develops the appropriate contingency plans.
Budget management, ensuring efficient spend and providing ongoing tracking and management.

Completed Bachelor’s degree is a requirement
AFH Industry experience is considered an asset
AFH Sales management experience is considered an asset
3-5 years of marketing experience in category & channel
Be able to communicate effectively to multiple internal and external stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects and aggressive commercial timelines
Ability to conduct data assessments and clearly provide recommendations to cross-functional team members.
Demonstrated leadership, drive for results and superior execution
Superior communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation
Good interpersonal skills working with many levels within the organization.
Solid analytical, problem solving skills
Proven project management skills

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$120,100.00 - $150,100.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
