Hybrid Maintenance and Facilities Manager presso GT Technologies

Supervises and guides building and facilities maintenance staff.   Plans, prioritizes and tracks progress on machinery repairs, upgrades, and installations.   Contracts and coordinates with outside contractors as needed.

• Supervises and guides maintenance, electrician and toolroom staff.
• Estimates costs related to layout design, including equipment and materials, labor, etc.
• Researches production/processing equipment or fixtures for purchase and gathers data relating to their ability to meet organizational needs.
• Ensures that established efficiency and safety targets are met.
• Oversees installation, inspections, repairs, trouble shooting and daily maintenance of buildings, infrastructures, and facility equipment.
• Responsible for keeping buildings and facilities in good status to comply with environmental, health, and safety policies.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining preventive maintenance for machinery and facilities.
• Maintains documentation of all machinery and upkeep of all maintenance records.
• Develops and monitors work order system which includes projects, down machines and pm’s. Goal of the system is to identify clear priorities to enable self-direction of maintenance employees.
• Supports Manufacturing Operations in an engineering capacity for assigned areas.
• Must be able to fulfill all customer requirements associated with the position.
• Other duties as assigned.

Associates degree and 3-5 years of experience in the field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge and experience with facilities maintenance.

Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.   

Strong managerial skills with ability to interface with senior management.

Display independent judgment and initiative.

Excellent analytical skills.

Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
