We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP) to lead therapy services, provide advanced assessments, and oversee treatment planning for individuals with serious mental illness and/or sexual offending behaviors. This role involves managing a caseload, delivering both individual and group therapy, and offering expert consultation within a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule/Shift:
Full-time. Primarily weekdays, with flexibility to work some evenings (4:30 PM – 8:00 PM) and weekends.
Responsibilities:
Complete intake assessments, risk evaluations, and suicide assessments.
Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans and schedules for assigned residents.
Manage a caseload as assigned by the Clinical Program Director/Designee.
Conduct individual therapy and lead group sessions on topics such as trauma, illness management, relapse prevention, healthy relationships, and risk reduction.
Consult with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, activity therapists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Assign, review, and monitor resident treatment interventions such as journal submissions, rational self-analysis reports, and relapse prevention plans.
Review and interpret polygraph results with assigned residents.
Provide availability for court testimony when required.
Identify resident progress, setbacks, and vulnerabilities for program review boards.
Participate in weekly team meetings and collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership.
Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and program standards, and report any compliance issues through appropriate channels.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record system.
Remain current with best practices and empirically supported treatment interventions.
Requirements:
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or related behavioral health field.
Active Kansas license through the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (LCP).
Proven experience in diagnostic assessments, risk evaluations, and psychological testing.
Clinical expertise in serious mental illness and sex offender treatment preferred.
Approved User of STABLE-2007 and ACUTE-2007 within 6 months of hire (if not already certified).
ATSA membership within 6 months of hire.
