Position Overview:
The Maintenance Make Ready Technician ensures that vacant apartments are prepared for new residents. This role focuses on completing repairs, touch-ups, and inspections so that each home meets company standards before move-in.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare vacant units for new residents by completing punch lists and unit turns.
Perform basic repairs including painting, patching, caulking, light plumbing, electrical, and appliance checks.
Replace hardware, fixtures, flooring, and other unit components as needed.
Ensure all work is completed within established timelines for unit turnover.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage and maintenance areas.
Assist with general maintenance requests as needed across the property.
Communicate effectively with the maintenance team and property staff to ensure smooth move-ins.
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance or make ready experience preferred (multifamily/apartment experience a plus).
Knowledge of basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances).
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
