ABOUT OUR ROLE | The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly back of house / kitchen environment. The Dishwashers will clean pots, pans, and smallwares according to local health codes, enabling the culinary team to work in an optimal manner. Additionally, dishwashers will clean and sanitize all china/glass/silverware to ensure the front of house staff have ample supplies to provide service. Dishwashers will maintain appropriate par levels for service, and assist the culinary leadership on a day to day basis by completing assigned duties and tasks. |

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS | Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and smallwares for kitchen operations. Clean and sanitize all china, glass, and silverware for optimal FOH operations. Maintain ample par levels of supplies for service, making supervisors/management aware any time par levels are not available. Maintain all cleaning supplies and equipment in accordance with HAACP standards, as well as proper equipment manuals. Effectively communicate with management, chefs, and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and or other employees. Ensure storeroom requisitions are accurate. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment. Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.

QUALIFICATIONS | Organization, ability to clean and keep area organized, helping cooks with prep projects as needed Experience working in a high-volume restaurant Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Able to handle service and stay organized

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS | Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 8-10 hours per shift. Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Manual Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for chopping, slicing, and other food preparation tasks. Heat Tolerance: Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment, often near ovens, stoves, and other heat sources. Mobility: Ability to move quickly and efficiently around the kitchen, including navigating tight spaces.
