Job Summary:

(Remote Role)

The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with the EVP of Sales & Marketing in driving group revenue into the Echo by Wyndham, Bozeman, MT and the Fairfield Inn by Marriott, Missoula, MT. This position will manage all inbound leads sources and proactively book group/BT business into these two properties located in these markets. 

 Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive top-line revenue across both properties.
  • Proactively source, qualify, and close group, corporate, and transient business in key market segments.
  • Collaborate closely with the General Manager of the Fairfield Inn/Echo by Wyndham to align sales goals with hotel operations.
  • Partner with the EVP of Sales on strategic planning, pipeline development, and corporate sales initiatives.
  • Lead the pre-opening sales efforts for the Echo by Wyndham, including market positioning, sales collateral, and local business outreach.
  • Maintain key account relationships and prospect new business within the local, regional, and national markets.
  • Conduct regular site visits, client meetings, and community networking (virtual and in-person as needed).
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and action plans.
  • Respond timely to incoming group leads from various lead sources for these hotels. Provide detailed information and ensure exceptional service throughout the inquiry process.
  • Utilize persuasive sales techniques and a deep understanding of the hotel's offerings to convert inquiries into bookings. Tailor proposals and presentations to meet the specific needs of potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, event planners, and group coordinators. Understand their requirements and preferences, offering personalized service to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by actively pursuing opportunities to book group business. Identify cross-selling possibilities within our portfolio of hotels to maximize revenue.
  • Ability to be innovative and differentiate from your competitors.
  • Have a High Touch approach.
  • Partner with the General Managers to develop sales/revenue strategies to achieve budgeted room and group goals.
  • Assist the hotel in meeting or exceeding assigned revenue goals, primarily, but not limited to: Rooms Revenue and STR performance.
  • Work closely with the EVP-Commercial Strategies and revenue management team on developing group strategies for each hotel.
  • "Brand Ambassador” always ensures brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.
  • Assist with the development of the business plan for each hotel.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to drive group revenue into the hotels.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities while on tight deadlines.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and make decisions.
  • Oversee and execute administrative functions including data entry, sales tracking, STS updates, and contract documentation to ensure accurate records and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with on-site teams to coordinate group bookings, manage rooming lists, and oversee event logistics to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Promotes the desired sales culture, vision, and mission around the five core values of Level5 Hospitality: Employee Satisfaction, Financial Performance, Market Share, Guest Satisfaction and Quality Assurance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

 Education and Experience: 

  • (1-3) years of hotel sales experience required.
  • Experience overseeing multiple hotels/brands.

 Physical Requirements:

  • Remote position with 25% travel to the properties
  • Work is routine and repetitive in nature and may require strenuous physical exertion at times, including the ability to move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift.
