Reports to: Entertainment Coordinator 

Location: Milwaukee, WI - Onsite

SUMMARY: The Milwaukee Bucks are hiring part-time Mascot Assistants for the upcoming NBA season. This role supports Team Bango at all home games and select community events, helping deliver engaging mascot performances and ensuring the success of Bango’s brand.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Be present at all Bucks home games (pre-season, regular season and post-season), as well as select community and partner organization events
  • Assist in game night setup and breakdown of multiple Bango assets
  • Maintain the integrity of the Bango brand within the guidelines of the Bucks overall marketing and entertainment strategies, following internal brand and performance guidelines
  • Assist with fan interactions and crowd control to optimize guests’ experience and safety
  • Assist the Live Programming & Entertainment department as requested
  • Represent the Milwaukee Bucks and Bango in a professional and appropriate manner at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Pursuit of, or recent graduate with, bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Previous Mascot experience and/or Performing Arts/Theater background a plus
  • Ability to simultaneously handle numerous tasks
  • Perform under tight time schedules
  • Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive, upbeat personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Availability to work ALL Milwaukee Bucks home games and other special events as needed.
  • Reliable, punctual, and courteous.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use handle or feel, reach stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear.
  • Unlimited physical mobility and the ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
